Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Completion of an approved curriculum in Radiologic Technology
  
• Certifications Requirements: ARRT (R) certification, WI State Licensed Radiographer, AHA or American Red Cross BLS
  
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years in specialty area, ability to work independently, experience with diagnostic radiology equipment
  
• Other Requirements: Ability to lift and position patients, stand and walk for extended periods, excellent interpersonal skills, fluency in English, vaccination for flu required with no exemptions

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality radiologic imaging services to pediatric patients at Children's Wisconsin - Appleton Clinic, ensuring safety and accuracy during all procedures.
  
• Operate diagnostic radiology equipment such as Siemens Multix, GE, and Carestream systems for plain film, portable, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient information using Epic Radiant and Phillips PACS systems.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care, including preparing patients and explaining procedures to parents and caregivers.
  
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and vaccination requirements to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
