Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Associate with a strong focus on social media to help us engage and connect with our audience in innovative ways.

If you're a creative thinker, a trendsetter in the digital landscape, and have a knack for crafting compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences, we want to hear from you.

Join us in shaping our brand's digital presence and making a significant impact in the world of social media marketing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing on social media such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with our CMO to create social content strategy on Instagram.
• Build a 90-day content calendar that includes static and video content.
• Work with the brand to create all content needed to execute on the strategy.
• Copywriting, light graphics (Canva or other), video editing to bring the posts to life.
• Scheduling and posting content.
• On-platform optimization for search, discovery, and follower growth.
• Reporting to College Contact leadership team on key channel metrics, recommendations, etc.
• Community management on social channels.
• As needed/interested: Influencer outreach / collaboration

Experience:

• Comfortable being on camera + passion for education industry a bonus

Marketing degree or previous internship experience
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to think analytically using key data points from social campaigns
• Downtown Austin WeWork office
