A Database Architect is needed on a mission-critical classified program. Experience all aspects of database architecture in a MongoDB environment is required.

MULTIPLE LOCATION OF THIS ON-SITE POSITION: Either State College, PA or Dulles, VA or Aurora, CO or Richardson, TX

TIME REQUIREMENTS: This is a full-time position for a time period of at least 6 months. With the right qualifications, the position could be much longer.

REQUIRED TO GET AN INTERVIEW:

Clearance requirements: This position requires an active and transferable TS/SCI U.S government issued security clearance prior to start date
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
(STEM) and Six (6) years of software engineering experience
Six (6) years of experience in database design and architecture in a MongoDB environment including experience with:
- Mongo Query performance tuning
- Mongo pipelines
- Architecting large data solutions
Database and system-level debugging experience including the ability to identify problems in established code and make modifications as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

Software development experience in Java
Experience working in a Linux environment
Experience with AWS environment
Experience with Kafka
Experience with OpenSearch
Experience working in the Intelligence Community
Experience with relational databases and other non-relational databases
Experience with satellite communication systems and protocols is highly preferred
Master's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
