Job Title: Full-Time Landscape Mechanic
Position Summary:
The Landscape Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of landscape equipment and vehicles to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position supports field crews by minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair small engines, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscape equipment
- Maintain and repair trucks, trailers, and diesel/gas-powered vehicles
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, blade sharpening, filter replacement, fluid checks, etc.)
- Inspect equipment for safety compliance and operational readiness
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems
- Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs
- Manage parts inventory and coordinate ordering of supplies as needed
- Ensure shop cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards
- Respond to emergency repair needs in the field when necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to operate shop tools and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions

Work Schedule:
Full-time position. Hours may vary based on seasonal demands.
