    Occupational Therapist OT Opportunities

    We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist OT to join our team at Poplar Hill Health and Rehab, located in Warrenton, VA.

    Your Role as an Occupational Therapist OT:

    As an Occupational Therapist OT with our team, you will provide essential care to our residents by:

    • Completing evaluations for rehab services in accordance with building policies.
    • Administering treatment to patients in compliance with physician's prescriptions or referrals after reviewing patient's history and progress reports.
    • Performing procedures such as range of motion, manual muscle testing, ADLs, sensory motor assessments, sensation, perception, and adapting tasks as needed.
    • Writing and charting progress notes as required and reporting patient status in weekly scheduled meetings.
    • Reporting any significant changes in patient status to appropriate personnel, e.g., nursing or physicians.
    • Instructing patients, family members, nursing staff, and others regarding treatment procedures, safety precautions, home exercise programs, etc., and submitting written instructions when indicated.
    • Reporting needed supplies and equipment repairs to the Director of Rehab and assisting with housekeeping duties and equipment care.
    • Performing all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner.
    • Performing other related duties as assigned or necessary, remaining flexible and adaptable in work schedules and assignments as defined by departmental and facility needs.
