The Bearings, Seals, and Hydraulics (BSH) Engineering Group has an immediate opening for a Product Service Engineer located at the BSH Facility in Euclid, Ohio. The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for supporting the planning and technical execution of power generation components.

Requirements

Coordinate with customers to support effective and efficient communication of engineering technical requirements.
Review all incoming inspection data and determine recommended work scopes.
Communicate recommended work scopes to the customer and obtain approval.
Communicate approved work scopes to production.
Estimate and communicate hours and costs needed to complete jobs and discovery work.
Provide all technical information to production, final sizes, etc.
Approve technical documents and instructions for production.
Approve technical documents and instructions and purchase orders for outside vendors.
Approve drawings, forms and work instructions.
Facilitate jobs by ensuring production has proper tooling, parts and supplies to proceed.
Review and submit daily status updates to customers.
Communicate frequently with customers regarding schedule requirements and changes.
Monitor workflow and shop schedule to ensure delivery dates are met.
Regular use of measuring instruments, hardness tester, material analyzer.
Approve drawing tolerances and material selections for part manufacture.
Approve final reports.
Monitor inventory usage and establish proper min/max quantities.
Ensure all component descriptions are accurate.
Review all customer purchase orders to ensure technical specifications are addressed.
Ensure all engineering documents and communication is properly filed.
Ability and willingness support emergent work items during nights and weekends, as required during unplanned and scheduled outages.
Travel up to 15% to other MD&A shop locations and customer power plant sites as needed.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Requirements:

Positive attitude/team player.
Self-starter that demonstrates initiative.
Mechanical inclination with the ability to apply knowledge to hands-on solutions.
Ability to take direction and act independently.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized while doing so.
Must be willing to work overtime.
