Department Overview

The Rates department in PG&E's Corporate Affairs develops regulatory expertise in gas and electric rates proceedings at CPUC. The Rates team also conducts cost of service analysis, forecasts revenues, and supports other organizations to enhance various programs.

Position Summary

Conducts quantitative analytical work to support regulatory proceedings, develops cost allocation, revenue recovery, and proposals in regulatory proceedings. Acts as a witness assistant, develops revenue and rate forecasts, and maintains relationships with stakeholders.

The role is hybrid, working remotely and in-person as needed in Oakland.

PG&E offers a competitive salary range for this position. Actual salary will be based on various factors including skills, education, experience, and market value.

Job Responsibilities

Acts as a witness assistant for quantitative expertise/support testimony
Supports development of settlement documents
Works with stakeholder departments to develop procedures
Assists in developing business cases
Coordinates with departments to identify impacts
Develops cross-organizational relationships
Prepares technical content for data responses

Qualifications

Minimum:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4 years of experience

Desired:

Master's degree or equivalent experience
5 years of experience
Experience in project management and regulatory affairs
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
