The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for accurately documenting each file according to the Bank's policy, procedures, guidelines, and compliance requirements as well as the creation, coordination, compliance, and review of commercial loan documents to the Bank's policies and procedures or process commercial transactions that will include the review and negotiation of attorney prepared loan documents.
In addition, this position will assist with the completion of the disbursements and quality review before and after closing as needed.

Two years of commercial loan processing experience preferred.
One year of commercial loan document experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet applications.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
Setup and analyze all incoming loan files on the Bank's loan operating system for all due diligence items needed to accurately document the loan according to the Bank's guidelines and compliance standards.
Coordinate external activities with title companies, attorneys, surveyors, and other pertinent parties.
Work with the lending team to ensure all necessary documentation is collected and stored on the Bank's loan operating system according to the Bank's guidelines and compliance standards.
Review business & trust documentation to determine authorized signers and entity information.Complete daily workflow on files to ensure rescript of all necessary documentation by using the commercial loan operating system.
May coordinate with closing attorneys all the necessary information to complete a closing package accurately and timely.
Demonstrate understanding of all loan products, lending authority, and Bank Policy and procedures as they pertain to commercial lending.
Review loan for proper approval and processing completion; knowledge of proper commercial loan documentation necessary to protect the Bank.
Prepares all documentation for extension, modifications, renewals, and new commercial loans.
Deliver loan closing documentation in a timely manner to closing attorneys and/or loan officers.
As needed, assist with the proper disbursement of loan funds and the quality review of loan packages to ensure all items are returned as needed and collateral is secured.
Ensure all loans are being delivered within department set SLA's.Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for communication with branch personnel, loan officers, commercial lending staff, attorneys, etc.
Self-motivated and work in a team environment
High energy level and strong sense of urgency
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the associate is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
Other Requirements
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required including occasional out of town travel.
Flexible work schedule may include some evenings, weekends and/or overtime.
Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
