Description
Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking an Investment Research Analyst.This is a unique opportunity to join our team to assist with investment management and market research across a broad array of asset classes and provide day-to-day operational support to our investment management team.
The Investment Research Analyst role will help produce the team's perspectives - and actionable recommendations.This role is hybrid, with two days working at one of our office locations:
St Paul, MN; El Segundo, CA; Cleveland, OH.
What you will do:
Support the quantitative and manager research team with report/material production, database maintenance, and analysis
Assist in the creation and publishing of our group's Capital Market Assumptions
Assist in performance reporting to generate composite performance for the team's portfolios
Support the team's quarterly advisor calls
Assist the team in managing the third-party research platform
Publish quarterly reports, analyses, presentations, and other research materials for advisors and their clients
Prepare reports, attend committee meetings, and work with senior analysts in gathering investment research.
Maintain menus and databases and serve as the first line of contact with advisors
Respond to routine inquiries from portfolio managers
Assist in other manager research and administrative activities as required
Ensure timely creation and updates to all marketing support collateral and commentary
Measure collateral and commentary usage
Manage our communications to our financial advisors including market commentaries, investment perspectives, and changes to our investment line-up
Learn, use, and support various financial products, software, and systems

What you need to have:
Bachelor's Degree
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the use of proper grammar and copy editing
Ability to multi-task while staying on track with deadlines, field inquiries, and internal assignments
Knowledge of economic issues, financial markets, and investment products is strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)

Compensations:
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus.
Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.#LI-Hybrid
