- Communicates with other healthcare providers as part of a multidisciplinary team including staff, nursing leadership, hospitalist physicians, pediatric subspecialist physicians to ensure seamless transitions of care and care provision.
- Collaborates with adjunct providers to form a high performing medical team. Works closely and collaboratively with PICU Medical Director, Medical Director of Pediatric Inpatient Services, and other physicians providing clinical feedback to them regarding decision about inpatient staffing, volumes and census.
- Engagement with the Pediatric Residents and Pediatric Residency Program including, but not limited to, didactic conference presentations, regular attendance and occasional presentation at morning report, committee work and interviewing prospective candidates to the Pediatric Residency Program.

Join Cottage Clinical Associates as a Pediatric Intensivist.The Pediatric Intensivist provides comprehensive care of the hospitalized patient and ambulatory patients as necessary, including clinical evaluations and treatment of patients.
This care includes, but is not limited to, high quality assessment of patients, diagnosis, treatment, thorough documentation, ordering, performance and interpretation of diagnostic tests, communication with other members of the care team, monitoring patient progress while caring for patients related to the practice of Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Minimum:
Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (DO). Board Certified in the physician's associated specialty.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Minimum:
Physician's unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California. Must meet all requirements for membership and unrestricted clinical privileges of the CH Medical Staff. DEA 2-5 and AHA PALS. Successful completion of specialty fellowship.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum:
Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics. Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects, and contraindications. In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.
YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
Proven experience working in clinical practice as a physician.
