    27 staff between Ambulatory Surgery and Pre Admission


    TestingType of staff:
    RN, Tech, SecretaryPatient Ratios –

    1-2 on days, evenings 1-3 ratioType of equipment –

    Suction, Oxygen, Vein finder, Bladder Scanner, Glucose machine, clippers, Meditech- documentation in OR moduleEMR –

    EMAR Typical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for:

    Must have:
    candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
    BLSPre op and Post op experience in Ambulatory Surgery Dept.

    , Good IV stick Preferred or nice to have:

    candidates with these skills will be considered first.

    ACLS List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
    Pre op patients, prep patients for surgery, post op carePre op care of and post op care of:

    Interventional patients, CT bx, Open heart patients- pre op, Total joint, Choley, Urology surgeries, children- teeth and tonsillectomy surgeries, spine surgery, hysterectomy, etc…

    Best personality Fit:
     Team player, able to multi-task, quick learner, self-starter, flexible with schedule, excellent bedside manner,


    REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
    BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferredFloating Area(s):Possible to assist ENDO to pre op patients- start IV's
