    Responsibilities:
    Architect, design and implement custom hardware developed for competitive trading.
    Work closely with other team members to evaluate system architecture and develop system level architecture proposals.
    Research and evaluate new technologies.
    Circuit and board level design realization activities including schematic captures. Experience with PCB layout a plus.
    Perform hardware testing including circuit characterization and system level testing.
    Evaluate and Collaborate with Fabrication & Assembly Suppliers.
    Investigate hardware issues to root cause and provide appropriate solutions and recommendations.
    Real estate planning, power budgets, design architecture, and logistical support (cost,schedules, resources).
    Management of external vendors fabrication and assembly.
    Author technical documents, specifications, & test specifications.
    Maintain bill of materials.


    Requirements:
    Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.
    Minimum of 7 years of full-life cycle hardware development and support experience.
    Experience in embedded system design with high density FPGAs and low latency, high speed circuits.
    Hands on experience with sophisticated test and measurement equipment.
    Experience with schematic/PCB design tools.
    Signal Integrity, Power, Thermal simulations & EMC Testing Experience
    Proficient in soldering for minor modifications of assembled hardware to support development.
