    The HVAC Technician I is responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems to meet client expectations.

    Qualifications

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required
    • Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Three (3) years of HVAC experience
    • Possession of refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification

    Responsibilities

    1. Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systems
    2. Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
    3. Clean, adjust and repair systems, and performs warranty services
    4. Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
    5. Provide technical direction and on-the-job training
    6. Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
    7. Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
    8. Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements
