Installation includes the supervision of employees or contractors on systems at customer sites.
System process startup consists of providing semi-complex to complex product support to customers both in the field on job sites and remotely via telephone and email for the applications supported.
Trouble shooting will require the application of engineering principles to identify root causes. This positions will report to the Operations Manager in supporting one or more service branches. Conducts/performs semi-complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.On-site process start-up and operations leadership and supportSize pipelines, pumps, blowers, other equipment, etc., based on site hydraulicsIdentify, coordinate, and engage with other functional teams to complete assignmentsCreate equipment, instrumentation, and valve lists to be purchased.
Conduct in-person shop or jobsite reviews throughout the project.May develop the planning and estimating of labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, transportation expenses and per diem rates to complete complex proposals.
Guides and performs the review of complex-task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout task durationPreempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in applying engineering concepts, techniques, knowledge or processesWrites and modifies PLC and HMI programs for water treatment systems utilizing Rockwell / Allen Bradley and Siemens productsConfigures automation networks, including Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, Profibus, Profinet and ModbusSupport the construction/project manager with the technical oversight of contractors.
Trains customers and other engineers to maintain and adjust complex tools, test equipment and calibration items, etc.Writes and submits reports covering all job activity.
Position RequirementsFORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:5-8 yrs of experienceKNOWLEDGE &
EXPERIENCE:
Prefer a BS/BA degree in Engineering.
Prefer experience with waste water solutionsDemonstrated history of excellent communication skillsStrong knowledge of operational processes as defined in work area; Ability to research a variety of parts needed for repairs, alterations of water systems; Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitudeExperience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD electrical (plus)Advanced computer skills(MS Office Suite, CRM, other applications)Additional Details
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
