Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping operations and possess strong organizational skills.


Main Duties:

• Work independently to print shipping labels, pack merchandise, and drop off to appropriate carrier
• Assist in quality control inspections of merchandise before shipping
• Maintain an organized shipping station
• Load/Unload Materials and Merchandise
• Learn Shipping Software & how to print and pack orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shipping and receiving room

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Must have a reliable vehicle for delivering shipments to carriers
• Proven to be organized, detail originated, and double check their work
• Proactive personality and self motivator
• Dependable and a great communicator
• Able to work in a solo, self guided environment
• Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is a plus, but an organized and self driven person would do well in this role
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in Shopify, ShipStation, or similar e commerce platforms is a plus
• Knowledge of e commerce shipping processes is a plus

This is a great role for a student or someone that has a fluctuating schedule.

Initial hours may be minimal to start (5-10 weekly for training), and then increase as person feels more confident in the role and familiarity with products.

We are looking for someone that is comfortable working independently once training is complete, and is a great communicator, keeping the team informed on their progress and weekly hours of availability.

The ideal candidate would also take ownership over their role by looking for ways the shipping room and processes could be more organized and streamlined.
