    What Administration contributes to Cardinal Health

    Business & Administrative Support is responsible for assisting general business operations by providing an array of administrative and data support activities.

    Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of their assigned work team. May assist executives in budget preparation, record maintenance, and generating reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Uses company software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues.

    Position Summary

    The Sr. Assistant, Administration is responsible for the support of four VP-level leaders within the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) of Benefits, Compensation, Learning & HR Services, and Talent Management.

    Responsibilities

    • Shared support:
    • Meeting scheduling: hybrid and in-person room scheduling and setup, including training rooms, presentation rooms
    • Maintain executive meetings calendar for fiscal year
    • Catering and event support
    • Time & Expense: expense reports, travel requests, conference registration
    • Visitor registration
    • Reporting: birthday/anniversary reports, rosters, etc.
    • Office Supply orders from Staples and Amazon
    • Stationery orders – RR Donnelley
    • P-card purchases for employee celebrations
    • Purchase order / invoicing – BuyNow processing
    • Org Charts (Lucid Chart) for HR Services & Learning, Talent Management, Global Benefits, Global Compensation
    • Distribution list management
    • Broad HR organization support:
    • FedEx shipping
    • Off-site storage box requests
    • HR Badge approval access
    • Ordering paper for copy room; copier repairs
    • Town Hall attendee in person list
    • Benefits team support:
    • LHH partner communications and planning
    • 401(k) mailings
    • Compensation team support:
    • Sales compensation design meeting coordination
    • Founder's Award support
    • Talent Management support:
    • Center for Executive Succession
    • Talent Leaders Network support (scheduling, introductions, travel)

    Qualifications

    • 3-6 years of related professional experience, supporting senior level management with large national or global companies, preferred
    • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
    • Demonstrates extreme discretion when handling confidential matters/materials
    • Detail-oriented and displays ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
    • Ability to effectively set expectations with internal customers regarding timing of activities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs; ability to learn new technology
    • Self-directed; ability and willingness to problem-solve and apply creative solutions (example: calendar conflicts)
    • Proficient verbal and written communications skills
    • Work proactively and independently, learn and adapt quickly, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environment
    • Ability to interface with employees at all levels of the organization

    Anticipated hourly range: $ $31.79 per hour
