- Support for annual budget and monthly forecast process.
- Support capital investments. This includes capital submission, approval, reporting, fixed assets, and engaging with project leaders to support capital projects.
- Financial support in cross functional teams and L6S projects to improve the profitability of the site.
- Report productivity and work with production to improve efficiencies and BOMs.
- Perform product costing activities monthly and BOM updates annually and as needed.
- Monitor inventory and slow moving / block stock.
- Verify the site is following Nouryon Policies as defined in the WebFeb.
- Rendition for property taxes and other government request (MA10,000)
- Participate in Integrated Supply Change projects.
- Back up for other sites when needed.
- Accounting / Controlling experience preferred in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience OR a Bachelor's Degree combined with additional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, MBA).
- Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and influencing skills required.
- The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff is required.
- Excellent computer skills required. Especially proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), a plus if proficient in business intelligence systems and ERP software (SAP) .
- Must be an independent self-starter with a high level of confidence and a critical approach to matters.
- Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during the course of employment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success.
