    About the job:

    Nouryon's Salisbury, NC location is looking for top candidates to fill the key role of Controller. This position is essential to the success of the manufacturing site and is the financial leader for the Production Site.

    In your future role as a Controller, you will:
    • Be Responsible for controlling aspects for the manufacturing site.
    • Support for annual budget and monthly forecast process.
    • Support capital investments. This includes capital submission, approval, reporting, fixed assets, and engaging with project leaders to support capital projects.
    • Financial support in cross functional teams and L6S projects to improve the profitability of the site.
    • Report productivity and work with production to improve efficiencies and BOMs.
    • Perform product costing activities monthly and BOM updates annually and as needed.
    • Monitor inventory and slow moving / block stock.
    • Verify the site is following Nouryon Policies as defined in the WebFeb.
    • Rendition for property taxes and other government request (MA10,000)
    • Participate in Integrated Supply Change projects.
    • Back up for other sites when needed.
    We Believe You Bring:
    • Accounting / Controlling experience preferred in a manufacturing environment.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience OR a Bachelor's Degree combined with additional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, MBA).
    • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and influencing skills required.
    • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff is required.
    • Excellent computer skills required. Especially proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), a plus if proficient in business intelligence systems and ERP software (SAP) .
    • Must be an independent self-starter with a high level of confidence and a critical approach to matters.
    • Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during the course of employment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success.

    This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Regional Controller, North America, based in Morris, IL.
