- Project Supervision and Execution:
- Supervise and perform tasks related to advanced abatement, such as insulating material removal and reapplication.
- Ensure adherence to EPA, OSHA, and state regulations.
- Manage Negative Pressure Enclosures and access permissions.
- Safety and Regulatory Compliance:
- Implement and oversee safety measures to control regulated areas and prevent cross-contamination.
- Maintain regulatory records and conduct Negative Exposure Assessments.
- Equipment and Crew Management:
- Supervise crew members to ensure efficient operation of abatement equipment.
- Manage respiratory equipment, monitoring devices, and related tools.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Conduct air monitoring throughout project phases.
- Complete necessary paperwork and update project data.
- Communicate project information effectively to customers and management.
- Waste Management and Material Application:
- Handle hazardous waste disposal procedures.
- Supervise the application of environmentally safe materials after abatement.
- Physical Requirements and Additional Responsibilities:
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs, working in extreme conditions, and climbing ladders.
- Participate in after-hours on-call schedule.
- Maintain a clean driving record and pass background checks.
- Valued traits: reliability, teamwork, strong communication, attention to detail, and flexibility.
- Minimum 5 years of Asbestos Abatement experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Washington State Asbestos Supervisor Certification with a clean record.
- Valid Washington State driver's license.
- Completion of Lead Supervisor training and Hazwoper certification within six months of hire.
