    Description

    The work territory of this position is located in Pullman, WA/Moscow, ID/Lewiston, ID areas. You must reside within a maximum of 1 hour from the territory (considering traffic) or be open to relocating independently (relocation not provided for this role).

    JOB SUMMARY

    This role involves outdoor sales activities to promote the company's products and services and establish connections with new and existing accounts. The primary objective is to support Sysco customers in achieving success while reaching sales and profit targets set by the company. This position may entail working outside regular hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) to effectively meet customer requirements.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop new business, maintain existing accounts, and reduce lost business to drive profitable sales growth
    • Identify and qualify potential customers based on company account goals
    • Understand customer business needs and offer a tailored mix of products and services
    • Stay informed about market trends, suggest products to customers aligned with their objectives
    • Stay updated on market conditions, product developments, and competitors' offerings
    • Provide product information and hands-on training to customers
    • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order-related issues
    • Engage in company activities, promotions, and customer interactions

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Education/Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field OR HSD/GED with 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Proficiency in more than one language
    • Prior experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, or as a Chef

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

    • Valid driver's license with a clean record
    • Current automobile insurance meeting specified liability limits

    Requirement

    • Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
    • Agree to Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement
    • Reside or be willing to relocate within the specified territory
