- Provide nursing care to patients in an Operating Room setting
- Work within the nursing process to provide direct care to assigned patients
- Ensure adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations, including discharge planning and patient/family teaching
- Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained
- Institute emergency measures for sudden and adverse developments in patients
- Encourage patients to play an active role in their own care and report concerns or treatment they do not understand
- LPN Accredited Program Graduate with IV Education & Training
- Current CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse in NM or reciprocal agreement
- Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people
- Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work
- Must be able to work under limited access to med room while adhering to Med Admin Policy, Att A
- Must be able to work with Chemicals and Bio Hazardous Materials while wearing PPE
