Develops departmental goals objectives operational policies and procedures ensures compliance with organizational policies health standard state federal regulations delegates to and supervises personnel solves problems makes decisions develops systems processes for successful integration implementation coaches mentors staff to ensure professional development serves as a resource to staff regarding specific skill demonstration promotion of knowledge communications plans administers directly through subordinates the effective operational management of services programs develops administers departmental budgets corrects negative variances from expected fiscal outcomes independently carries out is accountable for daily operations other activities assigned licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT ability to prepare reports policies budgets at a level normally acquired through completion of a Master's degree in a relevant field preferred requires approximately five to seven years progressively more responsible related work experience three to five of which were in a management role.
