    Overview:


    The Regional Director of Employee Benefits will continually support, develop, implement, and monitor adherence to AssuredPartners procedures and workflows for the EB department.

    This position will increase service excellence, efficiency, and professionalism through improvements in processes and automation utilization.

    In addition, the Regional Director of Employee Benefits will focus on identifying and developing operational tools and opportunities to improve sales capabilities and client retention.

    What You'll Do:


    Develop, implement, and continually improve upon procedures and workflows, to ensure standardization, consistency, and minimization of E&O exposure throughout the Company.


    Support the region by assisting with develop, implementation, and oversight of a service training program for new hires and existing employees.

    Training program will be unique to the employee's role, and will encompass the insurance concept itself, the procedure specific to AssuredPartners, technology, continuing education and the workflow within the Agency Management System.

    Oversee conversion process to ensure that acquisitions' Agency Management System data converts successfully and efficiently into Benefit Point.

    Oversee acquisition training. Training will be designed specifically for the acquisition and will include Company procedures and Agency Management System workflows.

    Identify opportunities for maximizing contingency income for the company.

    Analyze carrier contingency programs to identify opportunities for increased revenue; work with the Accounting Department to ensure prompt payment of carrier contingency payments.

    Provide management with data to support contingency budget.

    Oversee internal audit process for EB and EBSBU throughout the agency. Concentrate on adherence to procedures and workflows. Provide results to management and service staff. Identify and develop additional training opportunities as needed.

    Identify and develop operational tools and opportunities to improve sales capabilities and client retention.

    Maintain overall integrity of Agency Management System data, documentation, and historical information. Extract Agency Management System information to compile accurate and beneficial data by utilizing Benefit Point Reports.


    Develop new/improve upon existing Agency Management System workflows, to ensure AssuredPartners is utilizing the most current and efficient tools and technology available.

    Educate and train all applicable employees on new or revised workflows, tools and technology as needed.

    Directly supervise Project Managers in the Employee Benefits Department.

    Travel is expected to be 50% in this role.

    What You'll Need:


    Advanced degree from college or technical school; or 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Extensive working knowledge of Benefit Point is required.

    Knowledge of EB products, tools, and ancillary systems preferred.

    Life & Health Insurance License

    Frequent travel required, Valid driver's license.

    Tech savvy:
    ability to learn multiple systems. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products

    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
