- Compiles appropriate non-compliant criminal offender documentation required for sex offender violation cases in regions 4 and 6.
- Prepares affidavits and certifications for custodian's signature.
- Responds to Subpoena Duces Tecum's.
- Logs requests and isolates offender information for legal review to determine whether offender is eligible for removal from the Sex Offender Registry.
- Enters, updates, uploads, and validates SP-236 registrations.
- Enters and archives SP-236 registrations for change of address, employment, and other information into the sex offender registration system.
- Completes the supply orders, monthly totals report and processes and maintains the deleted log and the subpoenas/court calendar when primary employees are out.
- Process bi-monthly re-registration mailing for offenders.
- Prints two copies of SP-236-A forms and runs through the Pitney Bowes machine.
- Ensures mailings are accurately processed within a timely manner and inform the supervisor when problems occur with the equipment.
- Trains new employees to perform tasks assigned in the Sex Offender Registry in accordance with laws, policies, and procedures.
- Works on special tasks as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.
- Serves as the main lead for ordering supplies for SOR.
- Acts as back up to the primary employees regarding the subpoena/court calendar; and entering statue codes and zip codes into the system when the assigned employees are absent.

- Demonstrated ability to research and analyze information and make logical decisions based on policies, procedures, and laws; to perform research on questionable data by applying established procedures from training and learn
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Progressively responsible administrative experience in researching and analyzing data from a variety of sources to determine validity and identify missing elements.
- Must be eligible to become Virginia Criminal Information Network (VCIN) certified, which requires either United States (U.S.) citizenship or having been a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. and eligible for naturalization.
