    Cyber Security Account Executive - Federal Markets
    Tysons, VA

    OTE Salary:
    $300,000 per year (Base $150,000 with $150,000 commission) Company Overview:

    Job Summary:
    Our Account Executives tackle the foremost cybersecurity challenges our customers face
    They
    orchestrate the necessary resources to address these challenges effectively
    In this role, you will
    manage relationships with premier enterprise software providers and innovative technology
    startups, utilizing a variety of procurement strategies to facilitate easy access to and
    implementation of cybersecurity tools
    Your primary role is to advocate for and deeply
    understand the needs of our customers, aligning our technologies and practices to deploy
    solutions swiftly and effectively

    Responsibilities and Duties:


    • Customer Insight: Serve as a liaison for your customers, prioritizing their needs and advocating for the use of our product portfolio to address both immediate and underlying issues


    • Proactive Engagement: Stay actively involved in the cybersecurity community through various channels, including social media, whitepapers, speaking engagements, and focus groups
    Your insights and contributions are vital to our collective success


    • Pipeline Development: Use your passion for cybersecurity and entrepreneurial spirit to identify and exploit business opportunities within your designated territory

    Qualifications and Skills:


    • Minimum of 7 years in enterprise-level software sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales quotas


    • Expertise in Cybersecurity, IT, Data Center Operations, and IT Applications and Infrastructure


    • Strong familiarity with Federal market dynamics, including in-depth knowledge of customer missions, priorities, and sales navigation


    • Proficient in executing sales plans, managing revenue targets, forecasting, and optimizing resource utilization


    • Regular reporting on sales performance metrics is essential


    • Skilled in leveraging partnerships to finalize complex deals within large organizations


    • Demonstrated ability to engage internal resources effectively to meet sales and organizational objectives

    • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills


    • BS/BA degree preferred
