- Analyzes business transactions of moderate complexity and determines appropriate accounting treatment through research or collaboration with subject matter experts
- Calculates and records monthly revenue and expenses as it relates to operated and non-operated assets
- Prepares, maintains or develops various schedules, reports and analyses for distribution to internal/external customers
- Reconciles and/or analyzes revenue general ledger accounts and proposes necessary adjusting entries, as required
- Provides information and explanation for audit requests from internal/external auditors
- Serves as resource or subject matter expert, to colleagues with less experience
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Self-starter with proven ability to establish and meet goals and deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-pace, dynamic environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Thorough understanding of revenue accruals, distribution, and analysis
- Proficient with A/R, cash, and revenue account reconciliations
- Experience with Quorum or SAP accounting systems
- Exposure to Marketing and Midstream processes and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study with strong accounting emphasis
- 3-plus years of Revenue Accounting or related experience in Oil and Gas Accounting
