    The University of Georgia is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant or Associate URAR Director & Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of VPR-Animal Resources.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and direction to the URAR department, including strategic planning, budget management, and staff supervision.
    • Develop and implement innovative research initiatives, collaborations, and partnerships that advance the university's research agenda.
    • Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with a focus on animal resources and related fields.

    Requirements:

    • Ph.D. in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
    • Strong research and teaching background, with a demonstrated ability to secure external funding and publish scholarly work.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and external partners.
