    • Build the bridge between Devices sustainability, Net Zero, and direct engineering teams to influence roadmaps
    • Work closely with Systems Engineering to help develop Functional Requirements and Engineering Requirements supporting sustainability goals
    • Own implementation of technical LCA systems such as Sphera that analyze carbon impact of consumer devices during the product development process
    • Influence and design new methodologies for sustainability measurement, collect and analyze data, and present recommendations to management
    • Act as a subject matter expert in sustainable design of consumer electronics and mentor and educate team members across Reality Labs
    • Champion a sustainable design process, influencing the organization and leadership
    • Support Extended Producer Reporting (EPR) initiatives
    • ~10% international or domestic travel
    Minimum Qualifications

    • Experience with architecture and systems engineering across systems including electrical, firmware, mechanical, and optical systems
    • Experience developing novel end-to-end system architectures spanning compute, displays/optics, EE, sensors, calibration, and firmware for new products from initial conception through prototyping, validation, and production ramp
    • Experience working with partnerships teams and external partners at both a supply base and product level
    • Experience providing product feedback in addition to technical feedback on engineering and design work
