We are looking for Bridge Assessor II to join our growing team In this role, you'll support the California High Speed Rail project. Location flexible in Sacramento, Selma, Wasco, or Fresno areas.

Job responsibilities include:

• Review of contractor and PCM quality inspection and testing plans and reports, RFC plans, aerial photos, and other related documentation of completed construction work in preparation for assessment
• Perform visual assessment of structures according to established bridge quality standards, collect and record objective evidence, document nonconformances, and produce written daily reports
• Perform Independent Quality Assessment on completed structures.

Minimum requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Experience in precast, prestressed, and post tensioned concrete products
• FHWA NHI required
• PCI Level I and ACI Level I desired

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of visual inspection and testing procedures, relevant technical standards relating to precast, prestressed, and post tensioned concrete products
• Knowledge of technical reporting writing skills
• Ability to display data and prepare presentations with the audience in mind
• Strong problem solving, workload management and organizational skills with limited supervision
• Ability to be a professional, self-motivated, team player with strong collaboration skills
• Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team involving staff, clients, and outside agencies
• Ability to work well within a highly energized work environment with changing priorities and tasks
• Ability to make decisions using sound, professional judgment
• Ability to lead team to successful completion of tasks or deliverables
