    ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.

    Opportunity:

    RN - PICU

    Job Details:


    • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

    • Up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

    • Holiday requirements if contract period includes holidays

    • Patient ratios vary from 1:1, 1:2, to 1:3 depending on patient acuity in mixed ICU and stepdown unit

    • Float within facility scope as needed to meet operational requirements

    • 2 years of PICU experience required

    • ECMO and CRRT experience preferred

    • South Carolina RN license or Multi State/Compact license required

    • Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)

    • Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with various medical and surgical diagnoses

    • Manage complex cases including respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative patients, and neurology/neurosurgery patients

    • Work with advanced therapies including ECMO, CRRT, dialysis, and ventilatory support

    • 12 hours of orientation provided

    • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks as guaranteed hours policy

    • Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

    • Epic charting system experience preferred

    • Previous charge experience preferred

    This Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated teaching facility operates an 820-bed healthcare system serving patients across the region. The pediatric intensive care unit is a 28-bed facility providing both intensive and intermediate care with comprehensive therapeutic support services including respiratory therapy, pediatric dietitians, and specialized pharmacy services. The facility maintains advanced capabilities for complex pediatric cases and serves as a quaternary referral center with dedicated teams for ECMO and CRRT procedures.
