    Job Title: Part-Time Adjunct-Instructors in Biology

    Raritan Valley Community College is currently seeking experienced instructors to teach general education Biology courses. We are looking for qualified candidates to teach lectures and labs in various subjects, including Anatomy & Physiology I & II, Human Biology, Principles of Biology, and Intro to Nutrition.

    The successful candidate will provide an introductory study of the structure and function of the human body. They will highlight the chemical, cellular, and tissue levels of organization, and analyze the anatomical and physiological principles that govern the human body.

    We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively engage students from different backgrounds.

    In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering curriculum, assessing student learning, and providing feedback. You will also contribute to the development of the Biology program and participate in departmental meetings.

    This is a part-time adjunct position, teaching a variety of lecture and lab sections. The estimated salary range for this position is $60-$80 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Biology or related field
    • Teaching experience in a higher education setting
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work with diverse student populations
