SummaryThis Simplot Grower Solutions' position provides customer service to growers through the sale of crop nutrition, crop protection, seed, specialty, technology, and other agronomic products and consultative services.
The position is led under the general direction of the Market Manager, who provides support and leadership to all Crop Advisors within specifically recognized agronomic geographies to achieve the Company's financial goals and operational objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesSoil sampling, Plant sampling, Product testing, Product applications, and Field scouting in production agriculture areasAssisting crop advisors with seed and crop care activities to also include computer input of fertilizer application tracking, scouting reports and other spreadsheets as neededDeveloping thorough knowledge and understanding of our computer programs, product deliveries, inventory tracking, and safety requirements Typical EducationMust be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and completed at least freshman yearMajor in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agronomy, Crop Science or other related major Relevant ExperienceA farm background or farm experience is preferred but not requiredMust be able to lift a minimum of 50lbsMotivated and detail orientedExperience with computers, specifically MicroSoft Office SuiteEffective communicator Required CertificationsValid Driver's licenseOther InformationAbility and willingness to work Ag Industry hours:early morning/late evening, some weekends and overtime when neededDuration: May - Aug 2024School of Agriculture is preferred but not an absolute requirementRelocation Assistance is provided Job Requisition ID: 16914
