    This is a full time Status), day shift Informatics Analyst - Lead Position in the Information Technology Department.


    The overall responsibility of the Lead Informatics Analyst is to integrate clinical science, computer science, and information science to manage and communicate data, information, and knowledge in clinical practice.

    This position will serve as a liaison in system initiatives to all patient care disciplines and the IT department as it relates to clinical information systems.

    The Informatics Analyst – Lead will be responsible for changing the culture within the designated service line related to the implementation of technology.

    The Informatics Analyst – Lead serves as the primary technology resource for the clinical information systems within the organization.


    Minimum Required:
    Bachelor's degree in clinical field. Registered Nurse in the State of Montana. Five (5) to seven (7) years of hospital/clinical experience. Three (3) to five (5) years' experience involving the implementation, establishment, updating and/or maintenance of an information system. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledgeable with computer business software (Microsoft Office Suite). Excellent Customer Service skills and ability to work independently.


    Preferred/Desired:
    BSN Preferred. Prefer experience with Cerner, systems analysis and design, database concepts, cost and benefit analysis.


    Weekend Requirements:
    As needed.
