- Providing comprehensive legal support in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and property division
- Drafting, proofreading, and filing a variety of legal documents such as petitions, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Conducting legal research and fact gathering, as well as assisting in the disclosure and discovery process
- Managing case files, schedules, and calendars to ensure deadlines are met
- Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other relevant parties
- Assisting in the preparation for and attendance at court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and client meetings
- Continually developing your skills with legal tech
- Minimum three (3) years of Arizona family law paralegal experience
- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution preferred
- Advanced Certified Paralegal or Legal Paraprofessional designation strongly preferred (or qualifications to pursue)
- Proficiency with legal research tools and software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis), legal case management software (MyCase, CLIO), MS Office, Adobe, Dropbox, DocuSign, Slack
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding the firm's ethical standards
- Familiarity with the Arizona family court system and its procedures
- Self-motivation and team collaboration
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus
