    As a full-time Family Law Paralegal, you'll play a vital role in our mission to expand access to justice through innovation and empathy. Your day-to-day work will include:

    • Providing comprehensive legal support in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and property division
    • Drafting, proofreading, and filing a variety of legal documents such as petitions, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
    • Conducting legal research and fact gathering, as well as assisting in the disclosure and discovery process
    • Managing case files, schedules, and calendars to ensure deadlines are met
    • Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other relevant parties
    • Assisting in the preparation for and attendance at court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and client meetings
    • Continually developing your skills with legal tech

    To succeed in this role, you should have:

    • Minimum three (3) years of Arizona family law paralegal experience
    • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution preferred
    • Advanced Certified Paralegal or Legal Paraprofessional designation strongly preferred (or qualifications to pursue)
    • Proficiency with legal research tools and software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis), legal case management software (MyCase, CLIO), MS Office, Adobe, Dropbox, DocuSign, Slack
    • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding the firm's ethical standards
    • Familiarity with the Arizona family court system and its procedures
    • Self-motivation and team collaboration
    • Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus
