- Perform sterilization processes on medical equipment and instruments following established protocols and guidelines
- Inspect, clean, assemble, and package medical instruments for sterilization
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and washerdisinfectors
- Monitor and document sterilization cycles, including time, temperature, and pressure readings
- Maintain accurate records of sterilized items and ensure proper labeling and storage
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and ordering necessary supplies
- Previous experience as a Sterilization Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and aseptic practices
- Ability to operate sterilization equipment effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
