    Job Description: As an In-Home Caregiver with Right at Home, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and assistance to our clients in Broken Bow, Nebraska. You will be responsible for supporting individuals who may require assistance with activities of daily living, companionship, and light housekeeping. Your compassionate nature, patience, and commitment to improving the lives of others will make you an invaluable member of our team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
    • Provide assistance with mobility, including transferring and positioning clients as needed.
    • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management under the direction of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
    • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
    • Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
    • Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up client living spaces.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care activities and any changes in condition.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team to ensure continuity of care and client satisfaction.
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field preferred.
    • CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification is a plus, but not required.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and their families with empathy and professionalism.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
