Job Summary Purpose of Position

Act as a liaison between a well-known CPG company and its customers. Daily tasks include responding to inbound phone calls, taking orders, troubleshooting our products and problem solving. You will provide high level customer service forming positive, lasting relationships with customers.

Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries effectively and efficiently while upholding the companys excellence in service standards. This includes listening to customer via phone, processing orders, educating customers on various products and services, and troubleshooting our products, services, or website all within the required timeframe.

Investigate and resolve customer issues. Offer alternative solutions where appropriate to resolve issues with the main objective of retaining customers business and doing so with one call resolution.

Utilize a multitude of systems to gather, process, log, retrieve, and communicate information to perform or complete customer activity.

Work cooperatively with peers and supervisors, keeping appropriate individuals informed to assure positive customer relations are maintained.

Meet or exceed goals related to service level metrics, quality of service, KPIs and other measurable expectations.

Maintain a balance between handle time, quality, and meeting customer demands. Work effectively under time constraints while maintaining a high accuracy level.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 6 months customer service or call center experience

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Excellent phone etiquette skills and customer interaction techniques

Strong attention to detail

Patience and the ability to troubleshoot technical products

Ability to adapt to change and to think outside the box

Strong problem solving and complaint resolution skills

Proficient in using MS Office applications

Experience with CRM systems (i.e. like Siebel, Salesforce, SAP)

Proficient computer skills

**Job Description**

Our team, Calibration and Localization, is a significant player in the autonomous driving system. At TuSimple, our team is mainly responsible for sensor calibration and ego localization. You will work with the best talents to develop the state-of-art algorithms for online/offline sensor calibration and ego localization that meet ASIL level functional safety.

Example projects we are working on include:

Provide relative poses of various sensors in millimeter and <0.1 degree resolution

Real-time correction of sensor pose due to roughness of the truck while driving

Develop centimeter-accuracy ego localization even when GPS is out of service

Benchmark of algorithms to ensure their performance for agile development

**Responsibilities**

Deliver high-quality and product-level code for modules on autonomous driving trucks

Research and prototype development using deep learning and SLAM algorithms

Explore learning-based solutions in 3D tasks, such as point cloud registration, feature matching, SLAM, location retrieval, depth/stereo estimation.

Experience nonlinear optimization algorithms and non-convex problem

Work on different sensors such as camera, LiDAR, radar, GNSS/IMU and etc

**Qualifications**

MS in Computer Science, Robotics or engineering degree

Strong coding skill in Python or C/C++

Solid knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, or deep learning

Experience with 3D geometry, SLAM, SfM, or VO/VIO algorithms

**Preferred**:

PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or other related fields

1+ year related industrial experience

Publications in top journals or conferences in the related fields
