    The Practice Manager is responsible for performing administrative duties for individual physician practice, directing patient flow for the clinic, providing administrative oversight to clinical providers and ensuring patients have an optimal customer service experience while receiving world-class orthopaedic medical care.

    Job Details (this is a summary of responsibilities, not meant to be all inclusive):

    Provides executive support to assigned physician practice: performs complex administrative duties including responding for physician when he is unavailable, composing correspondence, and coordinating resources across the practice.

    Develop strategies for continued growth and development of physician practice.
    Oversees patient relations providing patients with outstanding customer service and support, handles patient medical questions and complaints.
    Develops and maintains clinic/patient surgery schedule and coordinates patient flow. Serves as liaison to VH and VVSC.
    Serves as a representative to the Practice Manager Team meetings.

    Responsible for coordinating meetings for assigned physician which includes, but isn't limited to, reserving meeting rooms, ordering meals, developing agendas, taking/publishing minutes, and following through on action items.

    Assists physician with human resources functions to include working with Human Resources on staffing requests and recruitment, supervising team under direction of the physician, annual performance evaluation process, disciplinary action.

    Maintains physician staff schedule/meetings and time off requests.
    Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements

    Certified Athletic Trainer, RN, or experienced Medical Assistant highly preferred.
    Three to five years' experience working in a medical practice/healthcare setting, required.
    Excellent organization, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills required.
    Proven ability to multitask and prioritize, must be detail oriented.
    Experience with Microsoft Office/Outlook

    Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously; ability to work with frequent interruptions.
