    Seasonal Hire - Neurology (Stroke)

    The Department of Neurology at McGovern Medical School is looking for a student to join the Vascular Neurology division for a summer position Student will perform data sorting of mouse EKG and human stroke database; collect, evaluate, and interpret research data to provide needed information to principal investigator/other researchers; and update notebooks, records, and databases as needed.

    10 hours per week. Nonexempt position.

    Minimum Education:

    16+ years of age and/or high school diploma preferred

    Minimum Experience:

    None

    Physical Requirements:

    Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

    This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.

    This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215

    Residency Requirement:

    Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
