    Description

    Romac Industries, an innovator of pipe products for the waterworks industry, is seeking an exceptional Southeast Area Sales Manager, who is dedicated to serving and building relationships with our customers, has a strong aptitude for learning technical products, and is known to be self-motivated and organized. This skilled and capable individual can masterfully contribute towards both the territory and the organization's strategic goals and initiatives by driving sales. Must have superb cross-functional communication skills, and effectively collaborates with all levels within the organization.

    To be successful in this Southeast Area Sales Manager role, you must have proven success in managing a territory, and polished presentation skills to present to large groups of customers or potential customers. The ideal candidate is accustomed to significant weekly travel and is strategically located to serve our customers in the southeast territory of the U.S. including Florida and Georgia. You are known to be creative, capable of analyzing sales data and developing sales projections. Some experience in distribution or manufacturing is preferred, though not required.

    Responsibilities

    · Extensively travel (both driving and flying) the assigned territory to build relationships with existing and new customers, including engineers, municipalities, and distributors.

    · Continually look for opportunities to promote,

    market, and develop products with distributors, municipalities, contractors, and engineers.

    · Attend sales conventions in territory (and nationally as required); set-up displays and present products.

    · Submit weekly expense reports and maintain a current call report log and calendar.

    · Interact as needed with inside sales/customer service, quotations, and engineering regarding customers, sales orders, and returns.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

    · 5+years of experience in sales.

    · Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good Department of Motor Vehicles driving record.

    · Ability to travel extensively, including some weekends and holidays.

    · Must reside within the assigned sales territory.

    Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 a year + bonuses
