The Quality Technician is responsible for functionally testing, analyzing and reporting on incoming/outgoing products. To be successful in this role, the Quality Technician will be a self-starter with the capacity to formulate a plan, with input from others, and follow it through to completion. The candidate must follow analysis protocol and report results to upper management and teams outside of the Distribution Center.

*Quadient is located in Byhalia, MS, just 10 minutes south of Collierville. Our facility is at the junction of MS-302, I-269, and US-72.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis and present findings
• Complete validation testing on all product stages (IQC, OQC, QAT)
• Conduct quality testing and present findings – testing includes product launches, troubleshooting, regression, etc.
• Investigate order discrepancies
• Collect, sort, and professionally report data on performance metrics of internal manufacturing, distribution, and repair processes and incoming supplier quality
• Create, implement, and audit standard operating procedures for internal processes and activities
• Participate in, and report on, multi-functional meetings
• Complete light assembly/disassembly of product, using manual and electric tools
• Provide support to other team members and departments as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficient with using computers, Microsoft Office applications, and warehouse management systems.
• Experience with LAN applications a plus
• 2+ years' experience in a technical environment or electronics background preferred
• Must be focused on customer satisfaction
• Must have strong written and verbal communications
• Continuous standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs, climb
• Previous experience in Quality Control with working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) preferred
• Previous working experience with ISO-9001, ISO-14001 and ISO 45001 standards preferred
• Work from specific and general written and verbal instructions
