    Amentum is seeking a
    Supply Chain Senior Manager to support Warfighter-TRS contract efforts.
    You bring strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and execute effective strategies. You bring a wealth of working knowledge of modern principles of efficient materials management, movement, and inventory control.

    The Supply Chain Senior Manager leads a team of subcontract administration and procurement professionals through the acquisition process of materials and services in support of a variety of programs and customers.

    The Supply Chain Senior Manager is responsible for the subcontract function, procurement function, reporting on critical performance metrics of the functions, capture support, implementing and using MRP and procurement systems, supporting program transition efforts, leading small business, and vendor performance management efforts.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for initiatives that support Business Area and Corporate-wide objectives.
    The Supply Chain Senior Manager acts as liaison with program management, business operations, procurement, quality assurance, and engineering. Leads the sourcing efforts for funded and unfunded service requirements and recommends acquisition approaches to program stakeholders.

    Researches and develops new sources of supply and keeps informed of new service offerings, subcontractor performance on other Amentum programs, and price trends.

    Responsible for the employment, training, motivation, discipline and performance evaluation of assigned employees. Responsible to drive process improvements and seek opportunities for optimizing the procurement process. Responsible for the compliance of the Subcontract files and documentation within the Information and Analytics business area. Engages with business area leadership and GSCM leadership to align organizational goals with operational needs. Provides input to capture strategy with GSCM BD Support organization and mitigates transition and operational risks identified during capture.


    Minimum Requirements:

    • An Active Secret US Government Security Clearance is required

    Note:
    US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret clearance.

    • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or associated discipline. Two years' experience in a related field can be substituted for each year of the four-year degree requirement.
    • Twelve (12) years' experience in supply chain or related field required, including at least five (5) years in a management capacity.
    • Experience in a high volume, global supply chain management environment.
    • Valid US or local driver's license and US passport.
    • Ability to travel throughout the United States and to other countries as required, often on very short notice.
    • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations; experience with import/export issues.
    • A demonstrated commitment to sound financial management, efficiency, and the pursuit of established objectives.
    • Demonstrated experience leading a successful organization in achieving consistency of service, orientation to clients or customers, and operational efficiency.
    • Progressive record of successful supply chain optimization, implementation of best industry practices, and change management.
    • Experience with CPSR audits, FAR/DFAR regulations, and complying with ACO Consent processes.
    • Experience administering and driving improvements to Subcontract Management and Procurement metrics.
    • Service Contract Act experience.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Cost Point Procurement.
    • Experience with Maximo Procurement.
    • Prior military logistics experience.
    • Professional Certification in Supply Chain field.
    • Program start transition support (deployed or remote).
    • Experience in the support of contingency operations.
