Nurse Practitioners (Primary Care and Mental Health)

Location: Bob Stump Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Prescott, AZ, and Outlying Clinics

Pay Range: $65 - $69 per hour

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our team at the Bob Stump Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and associated clinics. Our medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services to our nation's veterans, with a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Positions Available:

• Primary Care Nurse Practitioner: Full-time position available for daily coverage.
• Mental Health Practitioner (Psychologist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner): Full-time position available for daily coverage.

Medical Mobile Services Locations:

• Chinle VA Clinic: 5 days a week
• Kayenta VA Clinic: 3 days a week
• Page VA Clinic: 2 days a week
• Polacca/Hopi Clinic: 3 days a week
• Tuba City VA Clinic: 2 days a week

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations, diagnose, and treat diseases and health conditions.
• Prescribe medication and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide primary care or mental health services, depending on the position.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an NP-focused graduate master's or doctoral nursing program.
• NP Board Certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
