- Safely troubleshoot, upgrade, install, & repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, & pneumatic systems on injection molding machines, extrusion lines, & auxiliary equipment as needed,
- Perform maintenance & repairs of plumbing, mechanical &/or electrical equipment,
- Inspect & test machinery, equipment, help with molds to detect causes of problems,
- Preventative maintenance to include diagnosis & repair, dismantling machinery, remove & replace worn or defective parts, repair hoses, wiring, valves, etc., reassemble & verify proper function,
- Read, draw, create, &/or update blueprints, schematics, manuals, & instructions as needed,
- May need to fabricate parts to maintain or improve equipment function,
- Evaluate & suggest ways to eliminate recurring problems.
- 2+ years of related experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing/processing,
- Solid mechanical/electrical skills, including welding and hydraulic systems,
- Experience in electrical distribution V)
