- Examine, diagnose, and treat conditions of the human heart through a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including the use of ultrasound transducers to diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases and conditions that affect the heart and blood vessels, including coronary heart disease, heart valve disorders, congenital heart disease, angina, arrhythmias, and heart attack.
- Examines, diagnoses, treats, and/or refers patients; prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regiments as appropriate for assessed medical conditions.
- Maintains health record for each patient seen in accordance with health information management policies and procedures.
