Warehouse Helper

We are currently seeking a positive approachable, reliable and motivated Warehouse Coordinator to join our growing operation in San Antonio, TX

As a Warehouse helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations by assisting with the organization, maintenance, and inventory management of materials. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse space, including shelving, racks, and storage bins, sweeping daily, to optimize efficiency and accessibility of inventory.
• Assist in the assembly, packaging, labeling, and preparation of materials for shipping or delivery to project sites. Adhere to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to track stock levels, identify discrepancies, and update inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.
• Perform routine check, a list for maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill material requests and coordinate the transfer of materials between warehouse locations or project sites as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CDL drivers license is a plus
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects minimum of 50 pounds safely, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory management and record-keeping.
• Experienced in operating and using warehouse equipment and tools, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, pole grappler equipment, is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• 5 + years of consecutive years of warehouse working experience
