    Position Summary

    We are looking for a dedicated General Superintendent to lead all site activities for our construction projects effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for overseeing all trade and field personnel to ensure successful project completion.

    Location & Travel Details

    This is a traveling position where you will have the opportunity to work across various states in the US, including NC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, and WY. Projects typically last between 6 to 8 months. We offer a designated daily per diem for living expenses and relocation assistance when eligible, along with potential vehicle allowances. Monthly home travel may be arranged, allowing for one weekend at home each month.

    Responsibilities

    • Adhere to all Company and safety policies and procedures
    • Perform duties required of a Level I, II, and III Superintendent
    • Supervise subcontractors and field staff's overall coordination and performance
    • Manage construction activities and ensure proper material orders and scheduled inspections
    • Maintain and improve construction schedules, identifying and solving problems as they arise
    • Keep job sites organized, including the construction office
    • Maintain documentation systematically, both hard copies and electronic formats
    • Train and mentor Level I and II Superintendents as needed
    • Communicate effectively with large groups, clients, and stakeholders
    • Enforce discipline and professionalism across the job site
    • Conduct interviews, train, and manage direct reports while addressing performance and behavior
    • Travel to different job sites as required
    • Complete additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, with 10 years of construction superintendent experience; 15+ years of experience may be considered without a degree
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience working on Data Center projects is required

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    • Strong skills in project scheduling, planning, and document control
    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, especially with subcontractors
    • OSHA Certification and deep understanding of safety standards
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling Programs, and Document Control Software
