    The Department of Surgery, Division of Pediatric Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time academic surgeon with an exemplary record of patient care and expertise in Pediatric Surgery and experience with fetal diagnosis and therapy.

    Candidates must be board eligible/certified and have completed or will complete by the time of hire an accredited Pediatric Surgery fellowship.

    Applicant's materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission. Candidates who have experience with both fetoscopic and open fetal surgery are strongly preferred.

    Applicants with a successful track record or strong interest in clinical or translational research in the area of fetal diagnosis and therapy are preferred.


    Candidates must have recognized skills in the education of surgery residents and medical students and will be expected to be active participants in the Department's residency training and educational programs.

    The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See [Table 5]). The minimum base salary range for this position is $142,800 - $377,200. This position includes membership in the [health sciences compensation plan]) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
