Travel CVOR CST - 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM; On call as needed.

Job Description

The Travel CVOR CST will work in the cardiovascular operating room, assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth flow of procedures. The role includes assisting and passing in cases, as well as supporting turnover of OR rooms to keep surgical cases moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

Assist surgeons in cardiovascular procedures.
Maintain a sterile operating environment.
Prepare surgical instruments and supplies.
Support the flow of surgical cases and turnover OR rooms.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current CST certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology (NBSTA).
BLS certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular OR, with strong cardiac surgery skills.
Experience with thoracic da Vinci procedures is preferred.
Experience with Cerner EMR is a plus.
