    Position Description Serco supports the U.S
    Navy as a subcontractor for a technical contract that tracks and reports the combat readiness of Navy ships, aircraft and expeditionary forces to assist senior Navy staff, DOD and Congress in their continuous efforts to enable and sustain Navy readiness of the Fleet, now and in the future

    ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
    Must live in the Washington, DC area/ National Capitol Region and work onsite at the Pentagon 2 days per week; remote work 3 days per week

    In this role, you will:

    • Assist in providing Operational Navy (OPNAV)'s Assessment Division (N81) with a comprehensive methodology and supporting review process that assists in defining the U.S
    Navy's warfighting capability and capacity requirements for warfighter preparedness.


    • Assist in identifying short and long-term capacity and capability shortfalls or gaps, and quantitative/qualitative measures suitable for supporting value-based trades between disparate components of the Navy.
    • Provide campaign analyst support services that will provide professional, technical, and administrative on-site support to the Campaign Analysis and Modeling branch's (N81C) mission.
    • Provide modeling, simulation, and other analytic disciplines that support Navy centric programs as well as Joint Campaign Analysis
    Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have:


    • An active Secret clearance.
    • A Bachelor's degree in operations research or mathematics, statistics, engineering (aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, etc.), chemistry, physics, or computer science.
    • 0-2 years of working expereince

    Additional desired experience and skills:

    • Prior Navy or government service.
    • Modeling and or simulation experience.
    • Campaign analysis experience
