    We are the Piedmont Triad's only private psychiatric hospital meeting the chemical dependency illnesses and behavioral healthcare needs of those in our community.

    Our 164-bed inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning.

    We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients.

    We are currently seeking an Outpatient Services Director to join our talented and caring team.

    Our ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking skills, the ability to provide compassionate and competent care to a diverse patient population, must be able to build and maintain positive professional relationships with all hospital staff and patients, as well as demonstrate professional, effective communication skills.


    Position Summary:
    The Outpatient Services Director provides oversight and vision for all outpatient services, including Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient.

    Provides direct clinical therapeutic services to patients and families, ensures outpatient representation at treatment planning meetings, responsible for the development of outpatient forms and systems, provides quality assurance monitoring for all outpatient practitioners related to their responsibilities within the outpatient program and oversees the day-to-day operations of the programs.

    Director is further responsible for identifying growth opportunities and expanding programming based on the needs of our patient population and the community.

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description.

    The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.

    Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including male and female children, adolescents and adults as well as dually diagnosed adults.

    In absence of these qualifications upon hire, must demonstrate ability to learn these concepts and develop these skills within reasonable time frame via the organization's orientation and training program.


    Education:
    Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work or counseling.

    Experience:
    Four (4) years direct clinical experience specific to outpatient treatment of families and/or individuals. One (1) year experience in the leadership of people.

    Licensure/Certification:
    Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) from the State of North Carolina. Provisional license not accepted. Must also be a Licensed Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS) in North Carolina. Provisional (LCASA) not accepted.

    Skills:
    Proven experience in the day-to-day operations of an outpatient behavioral heath program.

    Strategic planner with the ability to recognize opportunities for growth and implement changes in current programming/structure or entirely new programming/structure to achieve goals.

    Proven management acumen with the ability to form strong teams who work together to achieve hospital goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Must be able to communicate with members of the interdisciplinary treatment team, managed care representatives, adult patients and patient families in a clear and concise manner.

    Knowledge of individual, group and family therapy dynamics and techniques as related to cultural, social, economic, communication and role expectations within family systems.

    Knowledge of clinical skills to assess treatment dynamics accurately and develop effective treatment strategies within the overall treatment plan.
